MICRODOLLY was on location in Western Africa with Director of Photography Larry Huntington.
"This production still is from our trip to the Republic of Mali," said Huntington. "We were documenting musicians, their music history, technique and how modern influences effect traditional music. I used both our MICRODOLLY JIB and CAMERA DOLLY when we filmed these groups. This way I could get a variety of camera moves and positions without interrupting the flow of the music."
"The MICRODOLLY gear traveled with us from California, so its lightweight and small size was a definite advantage," concluded Huntington.
